Ir. Dr. Ashita has 31  years of experience in the field of traffic engineering and transportation planning, having been involved in a wide range of transportation related studies, both locally and internationally. She has been involved in all the major rail schemes in the Klang Valley, Penang and East Coast. She is a firm believer of public transportation as the principal mode of transport.
